Professional Experience and Background
Cy Hill has achieved a list of accomplishments in the areas insurance and corporate defense litigation throughout his legal career. Cy’s courtroom experience as a young lawyer at the Kanawha County Public defender office and subsequently in private practice has helped to earn his Partner position at Mannion Gray.
As a law student, Cy participated in the Marlyn E. Lugar Trial Association and impressively made it to the finals in the West Virginia Invitational Trial Advocacy Tournament.
Cy has extensive experience handling complex cases in the areas of insurance agent negligence, employment law and deliberate intent/workplace injury. He has trial experience in both state and federal court, spending a considerable amount of time representing municipal and county governments and their employees in high-profile civil rights litigation. Cy continues to build his strength and expertise in these areas as a fellow Partner at Mannion Gray.
