MEDICAL MALPRACTICE

A substantial portion of our practice involves defending hospitals, nursing homes, physicians and nurses against claims of medical negligence. You name it, and we most likely have defended it. Our trial experience includes claims of birth-induced cerebral palsy, cancer, orthopedics, medication errors, anesthesia, emergency medicine, cardiovascular surgeries, and eye surgeries. We also represent other health care professionals, such as dentists and physical therapists.

While we handle all types of medical malpractice cases, our clients primarily look to us to handle their most difficult and highest exposure cases. Recently, Thomas Mannion and Todd Gray teamed-up to successfully defend back-to-back cases in trial, in a one-month timeframe, involving injuries of persistent vegetative state and ventilator-dependent quadriplegia, where the claimed damages were each valued well into the eight-figure range.

As a firm, we pride ourselves on our ability to make complex medical issues easily understandable to a jury. This ability, combined with our success, experience and knowledge, has resulted in frequent invitations for our lawyers to lecture to their peers and to the medical community.
