Our attorneys have successfully defended complex product liability claims on behalf of some of the world’s most respected designers and manufacturers of products. Much of the product liability experience of the firm’s founding partners, Thomas Mannion and Todd Gray, is based upon their defense of major automobile manufacturers. Our representation of these well-respected companies includes claims of negligent design and manufacture, failure to warn, breach of warranty, strict product liability, and fraud.

The cases have involved general crashworthiness claims to claims involving various product component parts, such as transmissions, steering columns, hood latches, seatbacks, and airbags, among many others. Thomas Mannion is one of only a few attorneys to have obtained multiple defense verdicts in airbag cases involving claims of ventilator-dependent quadriplegia, traumatic brain injury, and other life-altering injuries.

These experiences have prepared our attorneys to also successfully defend internationally recognized designers and manufacturers of other types of motor vehicles, such as recreational vehicles and motor homes, car carriers, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.

The defense of automobile and other motor vehicle manufacturers, however, only comprises a small portion of our product liability practice. We have also successfully defended the designers and manufacturers of chemical agents, elevators, electrical appliances, computer software, conveyor systems, exercise equipment, industrial equipment, and many other products.
